"Much of what is interesting and important goes on in Africa.

"To understand why our migrants are declining and what we can do to help we need to follow them to Africa, either by going there in person, or tracking them on their incredible journeys.”

Professor Cresswell will talk about some of the amazing things that have been found out about our migrants in Africa over the last 20 years.

The meeting will get under way at 7.30pm, with the Montrose Museum doors opening at 7pm.

Meetings are open to all. An annual membership of the society costs £15, visitors may attend for £3 per meeting while school students may attend free of charge.
