Titanic show at Webster

AS Puss in Boots prepares to bow out at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath, today (Wednesday), there is plenty to look forward to in the new year.

First up is the Angus Tayside Young Farmers Cabaret Competition on January 28, followed by Arbroath Musical Society’s performace of Titanic the Musical which runs from Tuesday, February 7 to Saturday, February 11.

The production commemorates the centennial year of the fateful voyage.

This Tony award winning musical is based on the true story of the great ship’s maiden voyage from departure in Southampton England, to the tragic sinking in the Atlantic.

The story follows passengers and crew members who actually existed, and were aboard the Titanic back in 1912.

Everyone knows how this will end! This is a thoroughly moving musical from start to finish with fantastic orchestration/musical numbers giving you the feel of grandeur and sadness, where you will likely be laughing and crying! Ticket details from the box office on 01241 435 800.
