Accomplished stage actor Daniel Betts, who last graced the stage of His Majesty Theatre in Aberdeen in a murder thriller last May, is set to return in the new year as the lead in Regent Park Open Air Theatre’s production of ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’.
He will play Atticus Finch in the world famous classic due to be staged at the city theatre for a week-long run from Monday, February 16.
He will perform on stage alongside Zackary Momoh as Tom Robinson and Christopher Akrill as Boo Radley while composer Phil King will perform the critically-acclaimed score.
As well as playing Tony Wendice in the UK tour of ‘Dial M for Murder’, Daniel’s previous theatre credits include ‘Skylight’ (National Theatre), ‘The Winter’s Tale’ (Royal Shakespeare Company), ‘Sweet Bird of Youth’ (Old Vic), ‘The Great Game’ (Tricycle, NYC & US Tour) and ‘The King’s Speech’ (Wyndham’s Theatre) and he has been seen on television in ‘Criminal Justice’, ‘Law and Order’ and a ‘Touch of Frost’,
