CARNOUSTIE Theatre Club swept the boards in the Scottish Community Drama Association’s festival of one-act plays in Arbroath.
The club scooped prizes in every section of the 79th event.
The adult group won the Ian Mackay trophy after wowing the audience at the Webster Memorial Theatre with their production of Daisies, written by former club member Lisa Nicoll.
They received a trophy for best stage presentation, whilst members of the club’s youth team performed Sandgran by Brian McGuire coming second, as well as being presented with the youth trophy.
Also taking part were Kaims Youth from Montrose with Death of An Angel, by Helen E. Sharman.
The overall adult winners now go on to represent the northern district at the divisional festival stage in Birnam and the youth team will travel to the divisional youth festival in Orkney later this month.
