The MEFFAN’S current exhibition is Past Times.
It portrays the people of Angus partaking in sporting activities and more leisurely pursuits during the past 150 years, using Angus Council’s collection of objects, images and art.
So if you want to reminisce about games you may have played as a child, music you listened to on your granny’s radiogram or to see the famous Pike’s Head again, why not pop into the Meffan and share stories of your past times with the staff. For more details turn to Sound and Vision on page 33.
The staff will be unveiling new and refurbished Pictish Sculpture and Archaeology displays at the Meffan in June 2013.
In the meantime the Museum Archaeology and Social History Gallery will be closed to visitors; the Art Gallery will remain open.
As of Monday (April 1) the new museum opening hours apply.
The Meffan is now open Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. admission free. So why not spend your leisure time reminiscing about Past Times?
