SCOTTISH troubadour Dave Arcari returns to Buskers, Dundee on Friday, June 27 to headline a special show as part of Almost Blue – the street festival that is filling the void left by the cancellation of this year’s Dundee Blues Bonanza.

Support comes from local acts Ed Sings (Ed Muirhead), No Egos, Shoogar and Sin City Blues.

Dave, who is gearing up for a 30-plus date US tour through August and September, said: “I was delighted to be asked to come and play the new festival. We had a great night at Buskers when I last played Dundee as part of my UK tour earlier in the year.”

Between live dates Arcari is working on material for his next album scheduled for release later in 2014. He has shared the stage with major artists including country/Americana legend Steve Earle, the mighty Alabama 3, Seasick Steve, Toby Keith and veteran blues-rocker Robin Trower.

A regular at UK and European festivals, Arcari cites recent highlights as Glastonbury and the Moulin Blues Festival in Holland. Headline shows in the USA, mainland Europe and the UK continue to take Arcari and his music to a wider audience beyond the confines of any specific genre.
