Stage set for another Scottish concert

MIKE McEwan is organising another Scottish concert in aid of Forfar Athletic Football Club.

The concert will be staged in the Reid Hall, Forfar, on Sunday, March 13 from 7.15 pm.

Artistes appearing include the excellent accordion and fiddle duo of Liam Stewart and Andy Kain, back by popular demand.

The concert will also feature Scotland’s senior accordion champion, 17-year-old Craig Paton, while providing accompaniment to the young trio will be Malcolm Ross from Arbroath.

Making a welcome return to Forfar is mouth organ virtuoso Bryce Johnstone and he will be accompanied on keyboard by Bill Ewan.

All the way from Peterhead will be bothy ballad singer Bill Gray. The show will be compered by the excellent Eddie Rose from Pitlochry, who will, as always, add his own brand of comedy and song.

This is sure to be another sell-out show and tickets (priced £12 for the balcony and £10 for downstairs) are now on sale at the Toy Castle, Forfar, or from Mike McEwan on 01307 818765.
