DUNDEE Chamber Music presents Anthony Hewitt - described as “a young pianist of remarkable talent” - at a charity concert in the Marryat Hall, Dundee on Thursday, May 24.
Anthony is cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, giving concerts on the way and aiming to raise £20,000 for charities, including the National Autistic Society and Sistema Scotland (The Big Noise).
His programme will include Schumann’s Abegg Variations, Schubert’s Impromptu in E flat, Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu, Liszt’s Schubert Song Transcriptions, Chopin’s Polonaise in A flat (Heroic) and Scriabin’s Sonata no 4.
Educated at the Yehudi Menuhin School in London, Anthony was described by Alfred Brendel, one of his teachers, as “a young pianist of remarkable talent.”
