Nothing average about music festival

THE Montrose Music Festival committee invites you to its next highly anticipated event in Montrose Town Hall.

Legendary Canvey Island rockers, Dr Feelgood, are performing with support from The Fortunate Sons on April 2, doors open at 7pm.

Tickets are on sale at for only £15.

Dr Feelgood are the subject of an award winning film - Oil City Confidential - winner of the Mojo Best Film Award 2010.

Their reputation is sealed after over 30 years in the music industry writing, performing and touring extensively.

Montrose is lucky to have been chosen as part of their national tour and the organisers are looking forward to giving them the usual warm Montrose welcome!

Not to be missed is their opening act – firm favourites The Fortunate Sons.

Described by Michael Eavis as ‘a fantastic band, full of energy’ at the Glastonbury Festival, the committee is thrilled that the band are touring with Dr Feelgood and are back performing on the festival’s stage.

Tickets are still available for the event but it is recommended that you buy soon!

Another date for the diary of any music lover out there – Saturday, September 3 sees the return of the Average White Band to Montrose Town Hall.

Details of the event will follow soon and tickets go on sale on March 12 from for £25.

Make sure you get that date in your diary and get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
