WITH three albums under his belt and number four about to be released, Stuart MacFarlane showcases the set at one of Angus’ quirkiest venues – Bank Street Gallery in Kirriemuir on Saturday, March 10 at 7.30 pm.
The strictly acoustic venue ensures music stays the focus of the evening. Its intimacy (capacity is 24!) guarantees an atmosphere like no other you will have experienced – unless you have been to the gallery before!
Showcasing his forthcoming album, Stuart brings his own special brand of folk/rock.
The stripped back nature of his earlier performances (a decade ago he was a hardcore songwriter employing only guitar and vocals) will shine in the gallery.
His evolution to the deployment of additional percussion and strings should make for an eventful evening.
The show will be a cracker.
For those who haven’t heard his name yet, his collaborations with Abel Ganz and Fiona Cuthill should say it all.
Tickets are £10 and are available in advance by contacting the gallery on 01575 570070 or 07793743989.
