Community concert

Angus Folk’s next Community Concert will be on Tuesday, June 19 in Kirriemuir Old Parish Church Hall at 7.30 pm.

This summer concert falls at the end of two terms, during which members havebeen learning lots of new material, much of it from the main tutor, Amy Lord.

Angus Folk is a community singing group, with members meeting each Tuesday in Kirriemuir to learn and share traditional Scots songs (and other songs from round the world that take their fancy).

The emphasis of the group is on fun and friendship.

Pop along and join them for an evening of songs, music, poetry and prose, show-casing the talents of both individuals and the whole singing group.

Tickets are £6 (concessions £5 , children £3).

Wine and soft drinks will be available before the concert and again during the interval when a buffet supper will also be served.

Donations will be gratefully received in return for the refreshments and a raffle will be held to help raise funds for Angus Folk (www.angusfolk.org).

Tickets are available from Angus Folk members, or you can reserve tickets by calling 07842 227202 or e.mailing info@angusfolk.org.

Tickets may also be available on the evening of the concert.
