THE stage is set for the most spectacular dance performance of the year at The Space at Dundee College with the ‘End of Year Show’.
This is the highlight of the performing year when students from four dance programmes take to the stage to demonstrate their skills.
This event promises to be more spectacular than ever with 100 dancers performing works choreographed by lecturers Lisa Bibby-Grant, Linzi McLagan, Laura Watson, Tommy Small and Vince Virr.
Students on the introduction to contemporary dance course, NQ contemporary dance, first and second year HND programme and Degree students are all participating in what promises to be a fantastic show.
The End of Year Show runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 17-19 and offers three different performances; on Thursday and Friday there are selected works by all year groups while the Saturday performance is dedicated to the HND and BA students.
The forging and unpredictable nature of relationships is central to one piece of work being performed under the auspices of lecturer Tom Pritchard, who brings an international pedigree to The Space having performed or shown work in New York, Berlin, Spain and China. Performances begin at 7.30 pm, tickets free on door.
