Readers from all over county are invited to celebrate the second annual National Reading Group Day with Angus Libraries at a special event on Saturday, June 30 in Montrose Library.
Guest author, Chris Longmuir, will speak about her best-selling Dundee crime novel “Dead Wood” and her experiences as a publisher of e-books via Amazon. Chris, a former winner of the Dundee International Book Prize, is a member of the Crime Writers Association and a popular speaker at writers’ events and festivals all over the country.
The Angus event is free and is open to members from all reading groups in Angus. People from groups who do not meet in libraries and readers looking to join a group will be made especially welcome.
To book a place at the event, please contact any Angus Library.
Every library in Angus runs at least one Reading Group. National Reading Group Day hopes to raise the profile of libraries within our communities by promoting stronger links with reading groups.
