THE latest show in Montrose Museum’s art gallery is an exhibition by local artist Maurice Forsyth-Grant.
“Moments” features works illustrating the inspiring and diverse landscape of the Mearns and Grampians.
Maurice has worked primarily as a full-time commissioned artist since leaving Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1987,.
Hoever, over the years he has moved to painting topics of choice, particularly the beautiful countryside and coastline round his home.
As part of this exhibition, Maurice is holding two “Meet the Artists” afternoons.
They will take place this Friday (May 20) from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Saturday, May 28 at the same time in the museum.
Visitors are welcome to go along and talk to him about his works and his life as a painter.
“Moments” runs until June 11. Montrose Museum is open Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.
