PATIENTS, staff and visitors at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in Forfar will be able to enjoy a new exhibition which showcases the beauty of Tentsmuir Forest in Fife.

Fife artist Allan Beveridge is displaying 20 striking oil paintings which promise to transport the viewer to Tentsmuir Forest.

The paintings capture the trees and surrounding areas at different times of the day and at different times of the year.

Allan, who lives in Tayport, is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee.

For many years Allan combined teaching with printmaking and since retiring he has divided his time between painting and printmaking at Dundee at Dundee Print Studio.

The centre at Whitehills has provided a venue for many local artists and the public are encouraged to pop in and view this exhibition.

Exhibitions at the centre are changed every eight weeks with each artist donating 20% commission on all sales to the Whitehills Arts & Environment Fund.

All money raised is used to enhance the Whitehills environment for patients, staff and visitors.
