Dancers going absolutely nowhere

The stage is set for the most spectacular dance performance of the year at The Space at Dundee College with the ‘Absolutely Nowhere Near the End of Year Show’.

This is the highlight of the performing year when students from four dance programmes take to the stage to demonstrate their skills.

This event promises to be more spectacular than ever with 100 dancers performing works choreographed by lecturers Nicola Herd, Linzi McLagan, Thomas Small, Lisa Bibby, Nichola Herd and Kim Elliott.

Students on the introduction to contemporary dance course, NQ contemporary dance, and HNC and HND programmes are all participating in what promises to be a fantastic show.

“This show, which is the culmination of the work of the whole year, always proves popular as the dancers and choreographers pull out all the stops to make the final performance one to remember.” said Peter Royston, dance director at The Space.

The Nearly End of Year Show opens on Thursday, May 5, and runs till Saturday, May 7; curtain at 7.30 pm with the bar open from 7 pm.
