WE ALL know a hard chip shop.
The one where you get filthy looks if you ask for anything fancier than fish and chips. The one where you ask for a chip fork and they jab it in your eye. The one where the bloke frying the chips has only half a face.
This Saturday 8 p.m. at the Vine and Monkey in Forfar, Neil Paterson and Mark Thomson tell the story of the hardest chip shop in Scotland and their quest for the Sacred Deep Fried Mars Bar of Driech.
The show will also consist of Neil’s heartfelt off-kilter songs of love, work and drink and Mark’s performance poetry about drink work and love.
Stovies are also included in the entry fee of £8.
If you enjoy a laugh and don’t mind a bit of swearing this show is for you!
