The Strathmore Sharks held their first ever Ladies’ Dinner.

The event, sponsored by Johnston Carmichael Accountants, was completely sold out and was a huge success.

After a welcoming speech from Ron Simpson, Sharks vice-chairman, the ladies were treated to a host of top class speakers in Tracey Currie from ‘Maggie’s’, former Brechin City Football Club chairman David Birse, who acted as Master of Ceremonies, former Forfar Athletic goalkeeper David Nicoll and Dr Tom Dymock.

Due to the massive generosity of those who attended on the night, the Sharks were able to present £500 to Tracey Currie of Maggie’s Cancer Centres.

The club would like to thank Johnston and Carmichael, Boyz-Zone, the Kirrie Dumplings, Lynn Ferrar, Strathmore Rugby Club, Derek Addison of The Print Shop Montrose, all the speakers and, most importantly, all those who bought tickets and came to support the event.
