WITH the local holidays upon us, there has been a great number of visitors fishing both Lintrathen and Backwater reservoirs.
Whilst the fishing has been very good the weather has not been very kind.
The best fishing at Lintrathen recently has definitely been up at the Sawmill End with Pearly Dabblers and red coloured Diawl Bachs doing the business for some anglers.
Following up with the massive brownie of 5 lbs taken by Jim Mosely last week, a member of Bonnybridge A.C. took a very nice one at 3lbs 4ozs on their outing this week. Anglers are also asked to report any big ones which have been put back.
The trickle stocking during the season with rainbows has been paying dividends and from now until the end of the season, some big rainbows will be stocked as well.
