Lowson travelled to Dundee in this latest league game and collected three points to keep them top of the league with two games to go.

They began on top and had four good chances to score with D Smith having two efforts saved.

C. Howie shot past the post with his effort and a Thompson shot brought a good save from the home
keeper.

Some poor defending by Lowson gave City two chances to go into the lead with Munro saving well and the other effort over the bar.

Ritchie hit a great shot that hit the inside of the post and stayed out; Lowson at last got the goal they deserved with a Thompson shot finding the back of the
net.

Massie sent Suttie clear with his effort saved with Danny Smith causing them problems.

He was brought down for a penalty with Nicoll scoring.

With Lowson’s midfield playing well City were finding it hard to create any chances near the Lowson
goal.

D Hampton was injured with G Little coming on. Some great play by Massie and Smith set up Calum Howie to score the third goal.

The manager made a few changes with Smith, Ritchie, Howie off and Cam Howie, Patullo, Timmons on.

This was another good performance by the players with just two league games to go needing one point to win the league.
