FORFAR BOWLER WINS KIRRIE TOURNEY
AFTER an exciting but rain-interrupted final Doug Robertson (Forfar) defeated Roy Urquhart (Dudhope) by 21 shots to 20 to win the Kirriemuir Open Singles Championship.
Stuart Cruickshanks and Jim Watson of Kirrie Bowling Club defeated Ian Moir (Boyle Park) and Steven Nicoll (Strathmore) by 12 shots to eight to win the Pairs Trophy, whilst Gordon K. Milne won the trophy for the Kirriemuir player who went furthest in the singles tournament.
