Danny Denholm has every belief that the Forfar Athletic squad has the required quality to go and win promotion from this season’s League One.
The explosive winger has just put pen to paper on a two-year contract at Station Park despite interest from other clubs.

And the star said he was never going anywhere because he’s more than happy with Dick Campbell’s Loons.
Denholm said: “It’s great to be signing a new deal and to have the security of a two-year deal.
“There were a few other things in the pipeline, a couple of other clubs in for me but I’m happy at Forfar - why leave?
“I’ve got the backing of the manager and it’s a good team here. It never got to the final stages with other clubs because I’m happy part-time and happy at Forfar. I’m just starting my career so I need to stay part-time.
“I’m raring to go. The first couple of weeks after the play-off final were very tough but to be honest, I’m chomping at the bit to get back now. You don’t realise how much you miss football until you’ve had a few weeks out of it.
“It was a horrible couple of weeks. We’ve got the experience now but we need to put it behind us, because we’ve got the squad to go and do one better next season.
“It’s been very important to keep so many of the squad together because we were so good last year as a team. We had three players in the Team of the Year but there were no absolute standouts.”
