A highly successful 17th annual sportsman’s dinner took place in the Reid Hall on Friday night, as a fund-raiser for Forfar Athletic Football Club.
The event, despite the current economic climate, was a sell-out yet again, with 270 patrons enjoying an excellent meal.
This was followed by great entertainment from speakers Kenny Clark and Donald Findlay, who both had the company in raptures with a fund of stories on many diverse subjects.
The evening was well controlled by compere Patrick Rolink and the raffle and auction on the night well supported.
At the end of the day the club’s coffers will hopefully be boosted by a five figure sum and the directors would like to thank all who supported the event.
