Loons chairman, Alastair Donald, is optimistic about ticket sales for the Rangers game on Sunday despite a slow start.
But with the club’s first league victory of the season under its belt he is hoping sales will continue to improve, he said: “It started to pick up on Monday so hopefully this continues.
“It definitely makes a difference to our players if they see a big home support there.
“So we just have to be hopeful that we can do a good job on Sunday.”
He continued: “It was a very comprehensive display on Saturday against East Fife, very professional, and we needed that going into this Rangers game.
“But Rangers can’t go a whole season without dropping points and I can’t think of a better place for them to do that than at Station Park.
“It will be a hard task ahead of us though, Rangers are in a completely different league from the rest of the teams in this division but we can only do our best against them.”
