Forfar will be looking for victory on home soil after a run of four defeats as the Loons host Stenhousemuir on Saturday.
Forfar have only registered a single point in three league outings so far this season while the visitors currently occupy fourth place in the league, taking six points from a possible nine.
Forfar have not recorded a victory since the 2-1 win over Rangers in the Scottish League Cup. Stenhousemuir will be looking to put their 4-5 home defeat to Dunfermline behind them with the “Warriors” conceeding three times in closing minutes breaking their unbeaten league run so far this season.
Forfar will start the match for the first time this season with no suspensions concerns. However, there are some injury worries with Mark McCulloch, Keith Gibson and Derek Soutar all sidlined, while a couple of players will face late fitness tests.
The visitors will be looking at talisman John Gemmell as their main attacking threat, with the big striker scoring five times so far in this campaign.
Last season the Station Park side recorded two victories against the men from Ochilview, winning 4-0 and 3-2 in the early season encounters, before losing 2-0 away from home in the first week of this year. The penultimate game ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Station Park.
