Forfar Athletic manager Dick Campbell is delighted to be so “well-forward” in developing his squad for the 2012/13 season (writes Sarah McLean).
Since last week Iain Campbell has put pen to paper to commit himself to the Loons for another season.
And with a number of trialists in training with the club at the moment, the manager is confident he will secure more names in the near future.
Meanwhile, Forfar Athletic are believed to be interested in bringing back youngster Dale Hilson on a further loan spell from Dundee United. Campbell said that this is hopeful to go ahead if all parties are agreed.
With the squad back in training, Campbell is pleased so far but is now intending to “Step it up a bit.”
Without facilities at Station Park for the time being, the squad have been training at Aberdour with plans to move onto Kilgraston before returning back to Dundee.
Campbell added: “David Mowat is back in training with us. He has a work commitment which means he won’t be able to join us until October but in the meanwhile he is taking part in pre-season training.”
Forfar Athletic season tickets for the forthcoming season will be available for the first time from the office at Station Park on Saturday first the June 30 from 10am to 11am
The will also be available at the following times: Saturday, July 7 – 10am to 11am, Monday, July 9 – 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Saturday, July 14 – 10am to 11am, Monday, July 16 – 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Monday, July 23 – 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Saturday, July 28 – 10am to 11am.
Postal applications with the correct remittance will also be accepted. These applications should be sent to the Secretary, Forfar Athletic FC, Station Park, Forfar, DD8 3BT.
Please note that season tickets will not be on sale prior to kick off at the Ramsdens Cup tie with Dunfermline Athletic on the afternoon of the July 28.
They must be purchased no later than that morning to allow admittance to the cup tie.
As stated previously as the club have no home pre-season fixtures this term, season tickets will be valid for one season only for all league and cup matches played by Forfar Athletic at Station Park.
Prices remain at last season’s prices: Stand – Adults £200, Senior Citizens (65 & over) £100, Under 17’s £70, Under 12’s £30; Ground – Adults £190, Senior Citizens (65 & Over), £95, Under 17’s £70, Under 12’s £30.
