Loson held to a draw

LOWSON shared the points with Barnhill in a very competitive league match.

The match went from end to end and eventually half-time came with no scoring.

Despite, Lowson starting the second half brightly, Barnhill scored first 55 minutes when Lowson failed to clear a corner properly allowing the forward to fire home from inside the box.

With 20 minutes to go Barnhill went down to 10 men after a midfielder was sent off for two bookings after a rash challenge on Suttie.

With Dale Leith coming on for R. Hampton, Lowson found the equaliser when a Crichton cross to the back post was met by Leith who scored with a great shot giving Lowson a deserved goal.

This Saturday, Lowson travel to Edinburgh to play Musselburgh in the third round of the Scottish Cup in confident mood after a six-game unbeaten run.
