Forfar Athletic are staging a couple of events over the over the next couple of months in the 1984 Lounge at Station Park and locals are invited to head along and enjoy the excellent entertainment at the welcoming venue.
First up on Friday, November 20 is a lighthearted Football Quiz.
A similar event earlier in the year proved extremely popular with 20 teams entering and enjoying a great night out.
So thanks to popular demand the club has decided to run another event for fans to show off their knowledge of the beautiful game.
Teams should consist of either three of four persons, with the entry fee £10 per team.
Then a fortnight later a bit of Christmas cheer comes to Station Park.
On Friday, December 4, Loons officials are staging a Pre-Christmas Dinner in the lounge.
This again follows on from the success of a similar event at the same time of year in 2014.
The main speaker on the evening will be established After Dinner entertainer Peter Brown, a familiar figure on the Scottish scene who will be making his debut in the toonie.
Loons manager Dick Campbell will act as compere for the evening adding his own inimitable style to the proceedings, ensuring a great deal of entertainment throughout.
It has to be emphasised that this is not a mini Sportsman’s Dinner, but an informal night that can be enjoyed by all.
It is also not necessary to be in group of ten people as is the case on most occasions in regard to the larger functions the club run over the course of the year in the Reid Hal with tickets available on an individual basis.
Ticket prices have been pegged at £25 which includes a two course meal.
