Loons are looking ahead to Pars clash

Forfar Athletic’s attention now turns back to league business after their Scottish Cup dream came to an end on Saturday.

Dunfermline Athletic will be the visitors to Station Park for the league encounter and the Loons will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a few tough weeks.

Dick Campbellā€™s side have taken just one point from their last three league encounters - in a draw against bottom of the league side Airdrieonians. Defeats to East Fife and league leaders Rangers came before that.

However, the Loons started off the year with some great form and they are hoping to regain that now they are back to league business.

The Loons have fared well against The Pars in their two league encounters so far this season.

Back in October Forfar Athletic stormed to a 4-0 victory at Station Park and an away day in early December saw them take a point in a hard-fought 1-1 encounter.

The Pars also had some bad fortune in the Scottish Cup as they were knocked out by fellow League One side Rangers at Ibrox on Friday night with a final scoreline of 4-0.
