Kirrie sixes event is up and running

The six-a-side football league which is up and running at Webster’s Sports Centre on Mondays.

A free game is being givene away to any new team interested in joining to trial the league to see if the the players enjoy it before signing up.

The league is operated by Soccersixes, who are the largest provider of six-a-side leagues and the league runs in association with the SFA.

The league runs every week and all equipment is provided by the organisers along with the referee, etc.

Scotland Leagues league Manager Chris Sockett commented: “Our leagues are usually full, with teams on the waiting list.

“With it being the summer and a lot of people on holiday a few teams have had to pull out and currently the league now has a vacancy.

“We want to get the league filled up as it will be better and more competitive for our current teams so we thought we would offer the next new team that joins this season a free game.”

The free game will be given away to the next team that join. It will be based on first come, first served basis.

Teams wanting to get in through the offer must write on the entry form that the offer was in the Forfar Dispatch and Kirriemuir Herald!
