Farmington latest

It was another busy weekend for the Forfar Farmington youth teams with a variety of results recorded.

The Foxes U13s lost 4-2 at home to Monifieth Blues, scorers were Kettles and Thomson. Falcons U13s won 4-1 away to Jeanfield Swifts, – scorers were Zoe Rennie (hat-trick) and Lucy Corbitt.

Stars U11s won 5-0 at home to Broughty United, scorers were Megan Johnston and Laura Findlay.

Dynamos U11s had a goalless draw away to Dundee Sporting Club. The United U15s were at home to Monifieth Galaxy and won 9-0, scorers were Moreland (hat-trick), White, Cook, Clifford, Simpson, Ross and Doherty.

The Flyers U13s won 8-0 at home to Dryburgh, Niamh Henderson scoring four.In the Second Division Forfar Farmington Development defeated Forfar Farmington Ladies 7-0, Sally Patterson netting a hat-trick, with Derrian Gollan, Alex Russell direct from a corner, Ellice Brannan (pen) and Katie Morison completing the scoring.

The U17s had a friendly at home to Jeanfield Swifts and won 7-1, proving their step up from the 15s to be the right decision. After 25 minutes of camping in the Jeanfield half they scored five in quick succession, Tammy McLaren netting a double, Erin Thomson scoring directly from a corner as well as goals from Lois Millar and Carrie Hoggan. Thomson and Cameron added further goals before Jeanfield scored a penalty late on.

The Premier League side are in action on Sunday as they start their Premier League campaign away to Spartans in the capital.
