Andy Ferrar was feeling neither ‘tyred’ nor ‘exhausted’ when Forfar Athletic Football Club director Dennis Fenton popped into A.T.S. to present him with a £2500 Loons Lottery jackpot cheque last week.

Having recently booked a holiday abroad, this win will definitely help to make it an even more enjoyable trip to the sun for Andy and his wife, who actually picked the winning numbers.

Andy gets his weekly ticket from agents, the West End Bar, who donate the income from the Loons Lottery to the Forfar Boys Under-12s football team, which is quite fitting as Andy himself is manager of the Forfar Boys Under-19s team having been involved with the Boys’ Club since he was eight years old.

“I have won a £20 consolation prize in the past from the Loons, but this certainly beats that win by a long way,” comments Andy.

Dennis is, as always, very keen to hear from any other clubs, organisations, etc., who would like to learn more about raising funds, which can be significant, through The Loons Lottery.

He can be contacted on Forfar 464424, 463001, at dennis.fenton@btinternet.com, or at Station Park on any match day.
