FORFAR West End clinched their place in the final of the GA Engineering Cup on Saturday, following a penalty shoot-out victory over Broughty Athletic.
The game itself ended one-each, with the Forfar side having to come from behind to take the game into a shoot-out.

The Fed took the lead in 59 minutes when Barry Murdoch evaded two tackles to hammer home, but West hit back to level through Darren Bonella four minutes later.

Goalkeeper Steven Vanderdeyl was the hero in the penalty shoot-out, saving two of the Broughty kicks as West won through by three goals to nil.

This week, the men from Strathmore have two important league encounters to play. On Wednesday evening, they travel to take on Montrose Roselea (kick-off 6.45 pm) and on Saturday they are at Armadale Thistle (kick-off 2.30 pm).

Saturday also sees Forfar Albion play host to Lochee United in the second round of the Currie Cup (kick-off 2.30 pm).
