STRATHMORE CLINCH TAYSIDE TOURNEY LAST FOUR PLACE
THE Strathmore Bar have clinched their place in the last four of the Tayside Sunday Amateur Cup.
The Forfar and District Sunday Amateur lLague side defeated Dundee Social Club by two goals to one in a quarter-final tie played on Sunday.
Meanwhile, in the semi-final of the First Division Cup, FC Porty edged past Woodville by the odd goal in seven.
Sunday's results were as follows:-
Tayside Sunday Amateur Cup quarter-final - Dundee Social Club 1, Strathmore 2.
First Division Cup semi-final - FC Porty 4, Woodville 3.
Division One - FC Porty 3, Cliffburn 1; Delson 2, Strathmore 9.
Division Two - FC Steg 9, Ogilvy 1.
This Sunday's fixtures are as follows:- Tayside Sunday Amateur Cup semi-final - Strathmore v FC Porty (Guthrie Park, Forfar, kick-off 11 am; referee, D. Skelly; assistants C. Race and P. Aiken).
Division One - West End Social Club v Woodville (M. Harrison, Lunanhead).
