IT took a penalty shoot-out to get Forfar West End through to the next round of the Redwood Leisure Trophy at the weekend.
Their second round tie at Dundonald ended one each, West going on to clinch victory by six converted penalties to five.

In open play, the Forfar side had to battle back to level through Gary Muckersie after Steven Connor had given Bluebell the lead.

This coming Saturday, Forfar West End take on Carnoustie Panmure in the final of the GA Engineering Cup, the game being played at the Westview Park home of Kirrie Thistle.
