FORFAR fans are still waiting to hear who will be in the managerial hot seat for the new season - following the recent departure of Jim Moffat.
There was still no word on Jim's successor, although the Loons board of directors are keen to make an appointment soon, with the contracts of a number of first team players up on Thursday of next week.

The club has drawn-up a short-list of successors and, although board members are remaining tight-lipped ahead of any announcement, the rumour mills are working over time.

It was thought that assistant boss Willie Garner could be in with a shout of taking the step up, but the hot money is on either ex-Brechin City, Partick Thistle and Ross County boss Dick Campbell of former Forfar favourite David Bingham at the helm for seaosn 2008-2009.
