WEBSTER'S High School pupil Morven Dockery recently took part in the Euroscola Project along with 33 other senior secondary school pupils in Scotland.
The Euroscola Project is an event held in Strasbourg and is run by the European Parliament.

The project brings together some five hundred 16-18-year-old school pupils from the 27 European Union countries for a day of meetings and workshops.

Students from the different countries work together to learn about the parliament and discuss topical European issues. They visit the parliament and have the opportunity to ask questions of representatives.

The project, which was supported by the Rotary Club of Kirriemuir, saw Morven attend with Webster's High School Languages teacher Mrs Christine Begg.

Over the course of the trip Morven took part in an on-the-street survey in Strasbourg, where she had to communicate in French.

She also took part in an open debate in Parliament with the other students, discussing the Euro Parliament in the various languages of the 27 countries represented.
