VAL RECEIVES THE JIM COSGROVE AWARD IN LETHAM

THE latest winner of the Jim Cosgrove Award in the village of Letham is Val Barclay, who is heavily involved with young people in a number of capacities.
Val, of Blairs Road, in Letham, has been a Letham Cub Scout leader for almost two decades and has helped run the after school club in the village for the last 15 years.

In addition Val, who is employed as a nursery nurse at Southmuir Primary School in Kirriemuir, has been involved in respite foster caring for ten years.

She has also found time in her busy life to study for a PDA in early years education and child care through Angus College.
