RELATIONSHIPS between Northmuir Primary School and a school in Kampala, Uganda have been strengthened this week by a visit by two Ugandan teachers.
Northmuir head teacher Paula Wharton visited their school last October and on her return the Northmuir primary seven pupils carried out a fund-raising effort for the school.

Over £800 was raised through various projects in conjunction with the Capstone charity.

The two teachers - Eddie Muhwezi and Jennipher Nandutu - are spending two weeks in Scotland as part of their holidays, visiting various schools to get a better understanding of the Scottish educational system.
