WEEKS of collecting much needed cat food from local groups and organisations culminated last week with a presentation by Easy Walkers to the Forfar Branch of Cats Protection.
The local animal charity launched its campaign for food donations at the end of last year, and was inundated with donations from local supermarkets, businesses and individuals from near and far.
Daryl Beech of Easy Walkers made the presentation last Thursday, also handing over a sum of money which was donated to the Forfar branch of the national cat charity.
A spokesperson for Easy Walkers said: "The donations will help the cats and kittens in the care of the friendly animal charity and we are pleased to support such a great cause.
"We would urge others in the community to support Cats Protection at this time of year."
