Young dancers in fund-raiser ahead of summer trip to Canada

THE Liz Low School of Dancing has a day of exciting activities planned in the Reid Hall, Forfar this Saturday, commencing at 10 am.

The fund-raising day will kick-off with a coffee morning at 10 am. A home baking stall and raffle tombola will be held and entrance to the event is £1.50.

With some fantastic bakers in the company you are sure see a beautiful display of delicious cupcakes and more.

Following on from that a “stovie or soup lunch” will be available for all those who have been out doing their morning shopping and fancy coming along to support this hugely talented group of dancers.

At 2.15 pm it will be eyes down and dabbers at the ready for a bingo tea with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Next, forget Saturday night TV, and make your way back to the Reid Hall for a fantastic evening of music and dance from this amazing young group of dedicated and talented individuals.

Not only will you see some amazing dancing but local singers Ryan Kopel, Norma Loggan and piper Ben Anderson will be performing at what is guaranteed to be a fantastic night out and will have you dancing in your seats.

Tickets are priced at £7 for the stalls and £8 for the balcony with concession tickets available.

The group is raising money for a trip to Edmonton Canada in the summer to compete in the Scotdance Championships.
