WORK to rectify the electrical supply problems at Angus Council’s offices at County Buildings in Forfar continues this weekend.
To enable the necessary work to be done the council’s central electronics communications hub which is located at County Buildings will be powered down at 5pm this afternoon.
As a result the council’s websites, email and some other electronic systems will not be in operation over the weekend. Emails sent during this time may not be received and may not be recoverable.
A council spokesperson said: “The council apologises for the inconvenience this may be causing customers. Every effort is being made to rectify the problem and return to a normal standard of service as soon as possible and we are taking steps to provide continuity of service wherever possible.”
