Roads in Angus continue to be affected by the constant down pours in the county.

Current roads that are closed today (Wednesday) are:

B957 Horniecross to Finavon.

U358 Reswallie.

C8 Rosemill Road Bridgefoot

U329 Fowlis to Liff.

A926 Airlie – barely open 4x4 only.

C35 Kilgary in dip flooded.

U429 Brathinch north of Brechin.

A935 closed at St Anns junction with A90.

B966 at Inchbare – barely passably through village.

Craig O Loch Road Forfar.

Roads that are passable with care are:

A94 Eassie/Douglastown.

A923 Muirhead to Hawthorn Cottage – traffic lights due to footway collapse.

C51 Lownie Forfar.

A932 between Forfar and Friockheim – Foresterseat.

U326 Templeton.

B9134 Aberlemno Road Carsegownie Aberlemno Village.

B966 Brechin Junction with Eddie Avenue, Brechin.

B955 between Brig of Trays and Prosen Bridge.

U390 Blackwater partial landslip.

C27 Glen Prosen north of Spott Bridge – road breaking up due to water penetration.

C34 at Pirniers Corner.

U430 Keithock – various locations.

Angus Council has advised that some bus services are being disrupted by the weather. The 128 Kirrie–Airlie–Alyth is suspended, 30/31 buses are unable to serve Fowlis and the 21 bus is unable to serve Brechin Castle Centre at present.

The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency still have in place flood warnings for Logie Mill and Craigo, Kinnaird/Bridge of Dun, Finavon and Tannadice and Brechin.

A yellow warning for rain is in place now until 11.55pm on Thursday. The forecast for Friday does show a let up with the rain, with the Met Office predicting a predominately overcast day, with temperatures reaching 2/3 degrees. ca
