Stagecoach East Scotland have teamed up with a number of tourist attractions in the area to encourage days out in April.
The bus company launched an offer on Thursday with top destinations across Dundee, Angus and Perthshire for two for one entry.
Glamis Castle, Blair Castle, Scone Palace, Discovery Point, Verdant Works, Blair Athol Distillery and the Famous Grouse Experience have joined forces with Stagecoach to encourage visitors to use public transport for great days out during April, by offering two for one entry into each attraction for anyone showing a valid Stagecoach bus ticket.
The offer will include adults, children, students and concessions who can show a valid Stagecoach bus ticket or pass to the admission office of one of the attractions.
The exciting offer was launched in time for the Easter holidays to encourage families to get out and about, to see more of their local area and learn about some of the fantastic history the local area has to offer.
Sarah Elliott, marketing manager for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with some of the area’s best loved attractions to provide this two for one offer. There is so much to see and getting there by bus can be a great way to enjoy a hassle free day out for the family.
“We offer a range of day and group tickets so getting there is easy and we hope this promotion makes it even easier for people to get out and about this April and experience what Dundee, Angus and Perthshire have to offer.”
On behalf of the destination partners, Elspeth Bruce of Scone Palace commented: “The Out and About initiative is a fantastic opportunity to discover more about the great facilities and attractions on our doorstep.
“We look forward to working with Stagecoach and opening our doors to their many customers with this very special offer.”
