THE annual flower show of Letham Gardening Club was staged in the village hall on Sunday.

The main award-winners were as follows:-

G. C. Burgess Rose Bowl (most points in the show), T. Williams; Letham Gardening Club Salver (most points in the vegetable section, I. Craib; Ian Cornford Trophy, (most points in the fruit ), J. Wilson; Sir Harry Hope Trophy (for the most points in cut flower and pot plant sections), T. Nelson; Taurus Craft Shield (most points in the floral art section), K. Henderson; Flowers Galore Shield (most points in the floral), D. Black; Hammond Shield (most points in the children’s section; nine and under, B. Henderson; Lake Shield (most points in the childrens section; ten to 16 years), G. Hampson.

Janet Rae Shield (most points in the wine section), K. Henderson; Jean Lumgair Trophy (most points in baking and preserves), K. Henderson; Muriel Thomson Shield (most points in the handicrafts section), D. Black; Evron Trophy (most points in the horticultural section by a Letham resident), T.
