Proposals for a revamped Kirriemuir square will be discussed at a public meeting this Wednesday (March 26).

The drawings have now gone on display at the town’s library and ACCESS Office and will be up for discussion at the meeting, which will precede Kirriemuir Community Council.

Put forward as part of the town’s Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS), the proposals aim to make the square a main focal point for the town’s identity and to improve the space by replacing damaged paving slabs and introducing a series of new street furniture such as seating, cycle stands and litter bins.

The meeting will be held in the fire station, Glengate, at 7.30 p.m.
