Every year, the Angus Ambassador Awards are presented to the local people, businesses, communities and organisations whose achievements and ambitions have made a special contribution to the already excellent reputation of the county of Angus.
If you - or someone you know - would be a worthy recipient of an Angus Ambassador Award, there’s still time to enter – but with entries closing on September 14, you’ll have to be quick.
Many entries have already been received for all six categories but the organisers are keen to ensure no-one misses out on the chance to win one of these accolades. “The Angus Ambassador Awards are a chance to publicly recognise those whose innovations, business skills, talents, creativity or work in the community highlight the qualities that ensure Angus continues to be a first class place to live, work, visit and do business,” said Helen Oswald, Provost of Angus, chair of the Angus Ambassador Awards judging panel.
The six categories in the 2012 Angus Ambassador Awards are: Business Ambassador, Community Ambassador, Cultural Ambassador, International Ambassador, Tourism Ambassador and Youth Ambassador.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday, September 14.
