If so, the Stroke Association’s Step out charity walk taking place on the Bank Holiday weekend, Sunday 6th May at Glamis Castle could be just the thing for you.

People of all ages and abilities are being urged to Step out and join in a fun-filled family day that kicks off with a host of fun activities including face painting, a bouncy castle, kids crafts, a petting zoo and much, much more.

The walks will begin at 2pm with distances of 0.5k, 1k and 2.5k available. Participants can select one or more route to follow and can do as much or as little as they wish. All participants will receive a t-shirt, a fundraising pack and a huge sense of achievement.

Entry is just £5 and participants are encouraged to raise extra sponsorship.

All participants who register in advance get free entry to the castle grounds and discounted entry to the castle.

Karen Hodgins, Fundraising Manger in Scotland from the Stroke Association, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming the whole community and have a host of fun activities going on as well as the walk, there’s something for everyone.”
