There will be some disruptions to local bus services in Kirriemuir with roadworks due to begin at School Wynd on Monday, February 10.

The roadworks are scheduled to be in place for two weeks.

Over the course of the two weeks some changes will be in place for bus services.

Service 20 will run as normal on journeys from Dundee city centre and Forfar to Kirriemuir town centre and on to Northmuir and Southmuir. However, the bus stop on Bank Street will be closed so services towards Forfar and Dundee from Kirrie centre will instead depart from the High Street and divert via Glengate, Lochmill, Slade Road, Lindsay Street and Morrison Street to Forfar Road.

On the 22/22D service, morning journeys will run as normal. Afternoon journeys from Dundee will run directly from Glamis Road to Kirriemuir High Street, then in reverse of the normal route via Northmuir to Southmuir.

With service 27A the morning journey will depart from Kirriemuir High Street and divert as service 20.

The service 120 journeys from Lintrathen and Kingoldrum will run as normal. Return journeys will depart from Kirriemuir High Street and divert via Glengate, Lochmill and Slade Road.

Service 121 journeys to and from Kinnordy will be affected by diversions.

Service 124 journeys from Forfar will run as normal, however there will be diversions on return journeys.

Service 128 will run as normal on journeys to Kirriemuir town centre, however, due to diversions, stops on Lindsay Street will therefore not be served on journeys to Alyth.

On the service 129 after Lisden Gardens, this service will divert via Checkiefield and Maryton to Kirriemuir town centre adding approximately 10 minutes to normal journey times.
