Around 1300 people enjoyed the sunshine and action at Cortachy Highland Games and Flower Show on Sunday.
The event took place in the grounds of Cortachy Castle near Kirriemuir.
It has taken place in the magnificent setting since the 1880s.
Activities included children’s races, fancy dress competitions, a duck race, flower and handy crafts in the industrial shows and competitions, traditional heavy events, highland dancing, piping competitions and a photographic competition. Elaine Butterworth hosted a rejuvenated companion dog show, which had around 70 entrants.
